Description
Phacelia is an annual broadleaf, cool-season forb that has an extremely fine, cobweb like surface root system that improves water infiltration. It produces exceptional high yields of nectar and pollen and is one of the very best plants for bees and native pollinators. Optimum planting date is when soil temperatures range between 37 and 68 F, optimum planting depth is ¼ inch, and seeding rate is between 5-10 lb per acre.
