Description
Found in the eastern half of North America, except for a few coastal states, Virginia Mountain Mint grows well in moist meadows, stream banks and forest edges. Full sun to part shade are preferred as long as the soil is fairly moist. Growing 1-3 feet in height, this perennial is very attractive to many bees and butterfly species that are in search of its nectar. Its white flowers are in bloom from July-September.
