Fawn Tall Fescue is a versatile grass fit for many applications, soil types and maintenance practices. This cool season, introduced grass is highly adaptable in most areas of the United States and Canada. Many tall fescues, such as K-31 and newer improved turf type varieties contain a fungus called endophytes.

  • Fast establishing
  • Seeding in spring is good, but fall seeding in best
  • Deep rooted bunch-type grass
  • Fawn can be used as a monoculture or as a component in mixes for pastures
  • Use in high traffic areas or where lower maintenance is preferred
  • Endophyte free tall fescue variety
  • Safe for use in pasture mixes, especially where horses graze
