Description

Cosmos are annual plants that are known for their beautiful flowers that bloom throughout the growing season from May-October. Different subspecies of cosmos range the colors of these blooms from orange/yellow/red with C. sulphureus and white/pink with C. bipinnatus. Easily established, shallow spring plantings will give way to 2-4 foot tall plants when grown in full sun, which it prefers. Known to be extremely drought tolerant, compared to other annuals, they do well across the entire United States.
