Fult Salt (Alkali) Grass

Botanical Name Puccinellia distans


This short, sod forming, perennial grass is known for its ability to grow well in soils with high saline contents. A cool season, it is adapted to the northern climates of the upper midwest and western parts of the Unite States. Growing 1-2 feet in height, it prefers full to part sunlight. Seeding rates range from 2-4 pls pounds/acre. Being a cool season grass, it is best to be planted in the spring or early fall.
