Description

This introduced annual produces bright blue flowers from May-August and are highly attractive to many types of pollinators from bees to butterflies. Cornflower is often referred to as bachelor button and its fast growth and heavy blooming makes it an attractive garden plant. Seeding is as easy as broadcasting and watering into the soil in full sun to part shade. If allowed to go to seed, it can reseed itself for years to come if given the ability. Growing to a height of 2 feet, it is highly adaptable to many soil types and moisture levels.
