Description

Native to central United States from Texas to the Great Lakes this perennial prairie plant is known to be longer lived than its “eyed Susan” counterparts. Growing from 3-5 feet in height, it prefers full sunlight and medium, well drained soils. Flowering from July-September, its bright yellow flowers have a sweet aroma that gives this plant its name.
