Native to the northeast quarter of the United States, Angelica can be found growing in wet meadows, ditches, floodplains and other moist habitats. Growing from 2-8 feet in height, its tall purple stems and very large compound leaves make it easy to spot. The inflorescence is made up of many small white flowers that are in bloom from June-July.
